The Family Economic Self-Sufficiency Project
The Family Economic Self-Sufficiency Project is a collaborative state organizing effort of Wider Opportunities for Women, the Ms. Foundation for Women, the Corporation for Enterprise Development and the National Economic Development and Law Center. The project provides resources and technical assistance to community-based advocates and states on human resource investment policies to help move families out of poverty.
This web site is designed to stimulate and facilitate the flow of ideas among these national and state partners with ongoing projects and related efforts. We will share strategies and proposals, celebrate and disseminate successes in the states, act as a library of relevant online material and links and expose and connect the Family Economic Self-Sufficiency Project to a wide audience.
This web site is made possible through the generous support of the Ford Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Norman Foundation and the Rockefeller Family Fund.
